Madison & Main Gallery's newest show "Like a Bridge" is meant to let art be an inspiration to discover what is the best in us. This theme was chosen to inspire artwork that bridges or is a bridge, or a reaching-out and a reaching into the future. The title was inspired by the Simon and Garfunkel album “Bridge Over Troubled Waters”.  2021 is a different world and a time to be feeling positive.

This show includes pieces designed to have an optimistic impact on our current world situation. For many people it feels like the world has been up-ended, like an earthquake struck, like a tower fell. We at Madison & Main want to remind the whole world that we have much more in common with each other than we may even realize. Maybe we are all saying the same things using different terms.

The new pieces by gallery artists include oil paintings, watercolors, acrylics, photography, functional and decorative pottery, a variety of handmade jewelry, hand-dyed scarves, and many new works of art. The members of the gallery invite you to join them for this stimulating show that runs from January 6 through February 26, 2021.

On Friday, January 8 and Saturday, January 9 the gallery will have an Opening Celebration during regular business hours. Stop by. We would love to see you. Covid-compliant individually wrapped refreshments will be served.
