Art … the ultimate gift. "Winter Lights," Madison & Main Gallery's 37th annual holiday show will feature original art, unique gifts, and one-of-a-kind ornaments. This show includes pieces designed to make the holidays bright and cheery, including functional and decorative pottery, oil paintings, watercolors, acrylics, pastels, photography, sculpture, felted mittens, woven scarves, walking sticks, mixed media assemblage, wrapped animals, a variety of handmade jewelry, purses, fused glass, folk Santas, a large assortment of ornaments, and many other new and joyful works of art.
The slate of twelve guest artists includes: Karen Archibeque – felted mittens, Jill Burczyk – colored pencil illustration and collage, Megan Holloway – folk people and ornaments, Jan Hudson - purses, Ann Leahy - watercolor, Dale Netherton - mixed media assemblage, Lori Ozzello – wrapped animals, Zachary Reece – limited edition digital drawings, Christine Schneider – hand dyed woven fiber scarves, James Sherman – carved walking sticks, Cindy Trevizo – pottery and jewelry, and Rhonda Welch – folk Santas.
This fabulous show runs from October 31 through December 29. Come see all the new original work and meet the artists during the public opening reception planned for First Friday, November 3, from 5-8 p.m. at the artist-owned Madison and Main Gallery, located at 927 16th Street in Greeley, CO. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
